To Derbyshire school Governors

Derbyshire School Governors Association is able to provide information and advice to all schools across Derbyshire via its website. Access and membership is free.

We have made some changes to the website of late and members of the Executive Committee have changed. We now have an Executive member who attends the Derby and Derbyshire Safeguarding Children’s Partnership who is able to pass on information to the Executive Committee. Another member is our lead in negotiations concerning the annual 2 day conference for Headteachers to which governors are able to attend (currently on the second day). The Association may be able to provide some financial assistance towards attendance.

We have regular meetings with representatives from the Local Authority.
