Use this form to submit your Opinion piece. All submissions will be monitored to ensure they meet the site’s policy (see below) and you will receive an acknowledgement stating whether your post has been accepted.
If it is accepted it will appear in the Thoughts & Ideas section of this site.
Acceptable Use (Post Permissions) Policy
All user submitted material is deemed to be their personal responsibility; the DSGA does not automatically support any opinions stated, but is simply providing a platform where they may be published.
User submitted material must comply with the site’s acceptable use policy, as listed below.
You may state your personal opinion about a topic, but if you make any form of criticism or accusation you must back it up with reference material (e.g. if you say that such-and-such a person is wrong about something, you must include references to the proof of this).
DSGA reserves the right to decide whether to publish any submission, and to remove posts at any time.
The following content is not permitted
- Foul language
- Discriminatory language or slurs (this includes age, gender, race, religion, sexuality, political affiliation)
- Content that might be defamatory or incur liability for the DSGA
- Contains inappropriate content (including pornography, information encouraging criminal skills or terrorism, materials relating to cults, gambling or illegal drugs)
- Any form of harassment
- Any form of commercial advertising
- Discussing named people or organisations in terms that could constitute libel
- Revealing of personal information that could contravene data protection law
- Spam, junk email, chain emails and phishing
- Content that is not relevant to the schools sector
