Children not always recognised as domestic abuse victims in their own right

This press release from multiple government agencies (Ofsted, Care Quality Commission, HM Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services and HM Inspectorate of Probation) warns that children who are affected by domestic abuse are not being consistently recognised as victims despite this being set out in law. It includes a link to the newlay published report The multi-agency response to children who are victims of domestic abuse.
