As part of their Green Recovery project, Severn Trent Water are currently offering a free water efficiency audit to schools in Leicestershire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire, and Nottinghamshire to help them save water, energy and money.
The free audit will review water usage across the site. They take flow readings, look for leaks and understand usage habits. The data is used to compile a report detailing the estimated water usage of the site, and the potential savings if certain water saving devices are installed. This report is given to both the school and Severn Trent Water. Once approved, there will then be an installation/repair visit where water saving devices will be installed, old fixtures will be replaced, and leaking toilets and taps will be fixed.
