A new report from Edurio focuses on pupil behaviour. Their research on pupil behaviour and safety is based on the analysis of the views of staff, pupils, parents, and school leaders. They found that feelings of safety have declined by almost 10% in the last two years alone.
Key learnings discussed in the report include:
- Behaviour Management: Staff report finding it difficult to get support with behaviour issues;
- Classroom Disruption: Around 40% of both staff and pupils report regular disruptions to lessons;
- Safety and Bullying: Pupil behaviour is a major factor for staff considering to resign;
- Changes in Behaviour Over Time: Feelings of safety have declined over the past three years.
