Dear Chair & Colleague
We are pleased to attach our governing board training and development programme for the summer term 2023. As a result of your feedback and requests, this includes some newly developed events which we think will be prove to be valuable resources:
- SEND Governor Network – 15 June
- Recruitment techniques – 21 June
- Clerks’ network – 5 July
- The date for our next Strategic Briefing is Wednesday 7 June. This will be an in-person event and is free of charge for subscribing schools. The topical presentations are designed to support your work as an effective Governing Board and all governors are very welcome to attend. It would be valuable to have all Governing Board’s represented at this event which we are sure you will find worthwhile.
This training programme is being sent out to all chairs of governing boards and clerks to governors. Please click on the links within the attached document for more information on each event and to reserve a place. You can also find the training programme on the S4S resources page.
